Senior DevOps Engineer

CarGurus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Enablement team, responsible for designing and operating scalable platform services for infrastructure delivery, secrets management, CI/CD, AWS self-service, AI governance, and platform integrity. The role involves technical ownership of multi-sprint initiatives, IaC and policy engineering, developer enablement, mentorship, incident management, and cross-team collaboration using tools like Terraform, Vault, GitHub Actions, and AWS.

Candidates should have 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure, with deep AWS experience (IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, ElastiCache) and high proficiency in Terraform and policy-as-code (Sentinel/Semgrep). Practical experience with HashiCorp Vault secrets management, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and programming in Python or Go is required. FinOps awareness and strong communication skills are also needed.
