Senior Software Engineer, Security

SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Security to join their Security team. The role involves a mix of security engineering, product security, incident response, and red teaming. Responsibilities include building secure-by-default protections across cloud, CI/CD, applications, and endpoints, providing security guidance on new products and AI tools, threat modeling, building security tooling, improving detection and incident response, and partnering with engineering and business teams.

3+ years of broad hands-on experience across multiple security domains with strong software engineering fundamentals, proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, C#), experience partnering cross-functionally, ability to build scalable preventative security solutions, attacker/defender mindset, and familiarity with AI/LLM security implications. Experience with tools like Datadog, AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab, etc. is beneficial.
