Nuro is building a universal autonomy platform for Level 4 autonomous driving. As a Software Engineer on the Teleoperations platform, you will design and implement an efficient video streaming pipeline, build offline simulation frameworks, test systems in real-world environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for on-road network metric collection. BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of industry experience, or PhD with 2+ years. Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Go. Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, socket programming, congestion control). Strong communication skills. Preferred: network simulation experience, real road LTE network metric collection, video streaming framework experience (e.g., WebRTC), understanding of video codecs (VP8, VP9, H264/265), GPU programming.
