Sr. Backend Software Engineer (Video Engineering)

Philo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and optimize the next generation of video ingest, transcode and delivery platform. The role involves designing, implementing, deploying and monitoring video streaming pipeline, collaborating with content partners, building scalable data pipelines, and driving improvements in reliability, performance, latency, and security.

8+ years software development experience, proven track record with Golang, Java, C++ or similar, deep experience with concurrent programming, experience building HA RESTful web services, cloud computing with Docker/Kubernetes, Scrum/Agile, data experience, collaboration skills, familiarity with cloud video transcoding services.
