Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering

Counterpart Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a team of ~10 SREs across North America, UK, HK, and New Zealand. The role involves owning day-to-day operations and long-term technical direction, shifting from reactive support to proactive collaboration with product engineering pillars. Responsibilities include scaling multi-tenant infrastructure, cloud cost management (FinOps), building developer self-service capabilities, establishing SLOs/SLIs, and using

6+ years managing an SRE team and 10+ years of hands-on SRE or infrastructure engineering experience. Deep familiarity with Kubernetes, GCP (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, GCS), Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, PostgreSQL, Prometheus/Grafana. Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and developer tooling. Sound build vs. buy judgment. Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones.
