About the role
We are seeking a Software Installation Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration background to conduct onsite software installations, system/network configurations, data migrations, and system testing. This role also supports project managers with site surveys, quality control, and documentation, and works with lab team to troubleshoot networking, applications, and system access. Travel up to 50% to customer sites CONUS and OCONUS.
Requirements
Active Secret clearance required, must be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI. Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or 3 years equivalent experience. Current Security+ certification, willingness to obtain Red Hat certification within 6 months. 1+ years software installation experience, proficient in RHEL, Linux command line, scripting in Python/Go/Bash, networking, monitoring. Must be willing to travel up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS.
