Software Engineering Intern

Garner is transforming U.S. healthcare. We are seeking Software Engineering Interns for a 10-week summer program in New York City. As a core member of our engineering team, you'll build and launch features using AI that directly impact real people — helping our members find top doctors and manage medical claims. You'll work alongside engineers, designers, and product managers, participating in code reviews and delivering a capstone project. Select interns may be offered full-time roles.

Pursuing BS/MS in CS or STEM (grad 2027-2028). Solid CS fundamentals; exposure to front-end (JS/React) or back-end (Python/Node); familiarity with databases or cloud (AWS/Docker) a plus. Exposure to AI coding agents (Claude Code) a plus. Strong problem-solver, self-starter, clear communicator. Excited by fast-paced environments and desire to do work that matters. Must have work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
