Backend Engineer

Tradeify is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the core services and infrastructure for its high-performance trading platform. The role involves developing REST APIs, microservices, managing databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), building event-driven pipelines, and ensuring system reliability. The engineer will work on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and contribute to CI/CD. This is a hands-on role based in Boca Raton, FL.

4+ years backend engineering experience; proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or C#; experience designing scalable REST APIs and WebSocket services; solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization; experience with caching (Redis), async processing, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker/Kubernetes; strong system design principles; ability to work independently in a startup environment.
