Principal Platform Engineer, Medical Data

We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to steward and architect the medical data domain, owning the integrity of the logical data model and ensuring data accuracy across services. The role involves defining patterns for service interaction with complex medical data structures, leading healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) strategy, and architecting high-throughput ingestion pipelines. This is a leadership position for a hands-on technical visionary.

Deep healthcare data expertise with 10+ years experience, expert in DICOM, HL7/FHIR. Proven track record with data pipelines handling terabytes of medical imaging data. Deep expertise in TypeScript/Node.js required, Go desirable. Schema design for SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL, data lakes (BigQuery/Snowflake), stream processing (Kafka), Kubernetes at scale. Compliance expertise in HIPAA/GDPR. Preferred: imaging physics, AI/ML, PACS/VNA.
