Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Network Infrastructure

Plaid is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Network Infrastructure team. The role involves leading company-wide network changes, simplifying cloud network, building self-serve tools in Go and Terraform, strengthening security boundaries, debugging complex issues, and participating in on-call. The team is small and new, offering a path to Staff-level scope.

Qualifications include experience running production infrastructure at scale, solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, load balancing), hands-on experience with Kubernetes networking, cloud networking (ideally AWS), ability to write code in Go or Python, and a track record of making large production changes safely. Nice-to-have: production experience with Istio, Envoy, or Cilium.
