About the role
Aescape is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Contract) to build and ship services connecting Aescape to third-party booking platforms. Responsibilities include setting up infrastructure, implementing three booking platform integrations, and handing off with documentation. Requires availability in Eastern Time hours. Contract engagement of 4-6 months with possible extension.
Requirements
5+ years backend engineering with production Golang experience. Experience building third-party API integrations (booking, scheduling, payments, CRM). Ability to take a service from skeleton to production with clear documentation. Comfort with inconsistent vendor APIs. AWS and infrastructure setup experience. Independent contractor based in US.
