Senior Engineer

Raft is a customer-obsessed non-traditional defense tech company seeking a Senior Engineer to work on cybersecurity solutions. The role involves implementing IAM, SIEM, IaC, and CaC solutions, configuring security tooling, AWS cloud security offerings, automated RMF controls validation, and working in DevSecOps environments. The engineer will work remotely with occasional work in a classified environment, and has a preference for candidates local to San Antonio, TX.

5+ years implementing IAM, SIEM, IaC, CaC (Okta, Splunk, Terraform, Chef, MITRE SAF). 2+ years each in security tooling, AWS security, and automated RMF controls (NIST 800-53). Experience with Linux hardening, CI/CD, DevSecOps, containers (Kubernetes, Docker). Must obtain CompTIA Security+ within 90 days; ability to obtain TS SCI clearance.
