Senior DevOps Engineer

Sphinx is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team, building next-generation mission planning and command/control software for space communications programs. The role involves developing and operating automated build/deployment infrastructure in GitLab CI/CD and Atlantis, maintaining Kubernetes clusters, packaging software into Helm Charts, writing Cloud Infrastructure with Terraform, configuring federated message bus infrastructure, and supporting software engineering teams with CI/CD

Requires 5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience in a DevOps role, experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) in production, strong experience with Python or Go, strong experience with Ansible automation, ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, excellent communication skills, and a habit of self-directed learning.
