About the role

Sphinx is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join their Space Communications team building a cutting-edge communications platform for US government satellites. The role involves maintaining AWS-based Kubernetes infrastructure, developing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, building Terraform modules, managing Helm charts, and ensuring platform reliability and security. The team is distributed across the US with a hybrid work arrangement based in Colorado Springs.

Requirements

Experience with production AWS Kubernetes (EKS), GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Helm, AWS IAM, Python/Go, troubleshooting distributed systems, cross-functional collaboration. Must be able to obtain U.S. TS/SCI clearance. Preferred: Nexus, GitLab, Okta, NeuVector, Kyverno, Sumo Logic, monitoring, WAFs.
