Senior Engineering Manager - Client Group

Virta Health seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers, set technical direction across backend, frontend, data, and third-party systems, and own complex systems in billing, accounting, member eligibility, and enrollment. The role involves recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering managers, collaborating with product, data science, and operations, and balancing technical investments with product delivery.

5+ years managing and providing technical leadership to engineering teams, with deep expertise across backend, frontend, data, and third-party integrations using Python and/or Go. Experience taking holistic ownership of complex transactional systems in billing, financial accounting, membership eligibility, or customer enrollment. Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling diverse, high-performing teams. Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and drive projects to closure
