Sr. Software Engineer I

Smartsheet seeks a Sr. Software Engineer I for its Security Application Development team to design, build, and maintain robust security features for its SaaS product. The role involves working on application development and security, creating secure-by-design solutions, developing back-end services and APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is remote from Bulgaria.

5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 in security features; Bachelor's/Master's in CS or equivalent; expert-level proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python; deep cloud experience (AWS); secure REST APIs; understanding of OWASP Top 10; containerization (Kubernetes); SAST/DAST/SCA; troubleshooting complex security problems; English fluency; 1+ year AI workflows; 1+ year building AI features; legal eligibility to work in Bulgaria.
