Platform Engineer (Hybrid) - Python/Java/AWS/Linux

Captivation Software is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop custom software components and integrate open-source technologies using AWS, Python or Go, and Linux. The role involves working autonomously on complex problems with Big Data and Cloud technology, in a hybrid setting at Columbia, MD, contributing to mission-critical systems.

U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required. 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development with Python/Go (or equivalent), expertise in AWS infrastructure, Linux systems, shell scripting, and ability to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days. Must work hybrid 1-2 days/week in Columbia, MD. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
