Staff Back-end Engineer (Security Infrastructure)

As a Staff Engineer on the Security Infrastructure team, you will build the platform that enables Coupang to win and grow customers' confidence while rapidly expanding and scaling services. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field; 6 years backend software development; experience with AWS; building highly available distributed systems. Preferred: Masters/PhD; knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, IAM; experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, Istio; CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code; fluency in C++, Java, or Go; large-scale distributed systems; cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP); deep understanding of cloud design and API patterns.
