Senior Software Engineer – JIT Proxy

This role is on the JIT Proxy team, building secure just-in-time access to customer resources including databases, servers, Kubernetes clusters. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate secure proxy and cloud services, supporting protocols like SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, and database connections. You will work on high-performance networking, distributed systems, and security, applying Zero Trust and least-privilege principles. You will report to the engineering manager.

Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent, 5+ years backend/distributed/networking experience, strong concurrent programming and networking, distributed systems understanding, secure software experience, cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes), problem-solving, mentoring. Preferred: Go, proxies/gateways, security/identity tech, observability, customer-facing software, Terraform, CI/CD, Zero Trust understanding.
